Scarecrow Festival in Chappell Hill, TX

Chappell Hill is a tiny historic community in Washington County, Texas. It may be small (approximately 300 people live in the town) but the charm is ginormous. They put on an annual scarecrow festival in which all of the store fronts and homes display a scarecrow of sorts.

It was so festive to drive through.

My favorite display was in front of the church.

I am sorry I missed the festival, I have been to Chappel Hill, many times and have stayed at Lillian Farms B&B often, but there are so many things happening this time of year, it is hard to attend them all.

    Thanks for sharing your pictures.
    Next year!
